From time to time, you might need help. This is a list of the commands eddy understands and what they do.
Please note: eddy uses different commands than the Slack defaults, which means you don't need to put a slash in front of them.
eddy Commands

| register | Manager or Admin | This begins the registration process. It will ask you to input a 10-digit registration code from edify and links your Slack instance to the edify database. Your registration code will come by email from eddy@getedify.co. |
| intake | Manager | Launches the Manager Intake flow, in which eddy will ask questions about the New Hire's team. |
| new hire | Manager or SME | Launches the New Hire Setup flow which enables the Manager or SME to identify the New Hire to onboard, who their Buddy will be, and answers questions specific to their expectations for the hire. |
| onboard | New Hire | This launches the onboarding process for the New Hire. This command also initiates the next section of steps if the current section is completed. |
| eddy reset | Manager or Admin | This will reset the entire eddy bot instance in your Slack. Any New Hires currently onboarding will have their progress reset, and Managers will no longer be able to access historical or current reporting data without contacting edify. You'll be asked to confirm. |
| checkin | New Hire | eddy will check in with New Hires at the end of every day to ask about their progress. This command manually triggers this flow, in which eddy asks about progress on their tasks for that day. With all tasks complete, the New Hire can progress to the next section with the onboard command. |
| report | Manager | Generates a status report on the New Hire's progress, including how much of their onboarding they have completed and which tasks they have skipped. |
| download | Manager | Download an Onboarding Plan for a New Hire. You can choose from a blank plan, which has backup prompts, or the completed plan derived from your organization's responses during the Ingest process. |
| help | Everyone | Get a list of the commands that eddy understands. |
| list | New Hire | Get a list of open tasks to complete. |
| pause or resume | New Hire | Allows New Hire to toggle between pausing and resuming messages from eddy. |
